The Mk11 First Stage Regulator is the perfect choice for the recreational diver who wants the advantage of a diaphragm first stage for use in temperate waters. Diaphragm-based first stages are environmentally sealed so that water cannot enter the inner mechanism. Bearing in mind that regulators generate temperatures as low as 22°F (-5.5°C) due to the incredibly fast moving air and the pressure drop involved, it is imperative that sensitive moving metal parts avoid contact with extremely cold water or debris. Therefore, diaphragm first stages have been the favored choice of cold-water divers and those working in contaminated or muddy water. The MK11 first stage’s streamline body is constructed of machined marine-grade chromed brass. The MK11 has a balanced diaphragm to offer you peace of mind with its smooth breathing mechanisms and maximum performance that don’t diminish as your tank’s air pressure changes. This first stage is available with a DIN configuration. This first stage comes standard with the Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which keeps your first stage from freezing up and malfunctioning in cold water conditions. Additionally, its over-balanced diaphragm first stage design gives you better breathing performance at greater depths. First-Stage Regulator is equipped with two HP and four LP Ports. Two of the LP Ports are High Flow Ports (HFP) for easier breathing on demanding dives.
The C350 is the most compact second stage in Scubapro’s line. It is lightweight, breathes smooth and extremely easy, and offers an inhalation effort control knob and a Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) dive/pre-dive switch. It is also the only second stage built with an Optimal Flow Design valve. This innovative design features a full-length poppet valve specially designed to optimize aerodynamic performance. This in turn allows air to flow unobstructed over the poppet valve surface, providing a smooth and controlled breathing experience that used to be reserved only for air balanced second stage designs.
Compact body and exhaust tee take up little space in a travel dive bag. Stainless steel frame on the front cover adds some style to the compact design. New poppet shape and size are effective at eliminating vibrations and whistles. Large purge button is easy to activate, even wearing thick gloves. Holes below the purge button increase water circulation on the diaphragm to improve sensitivity. Super-flow hose features an oversized bore that allows more air to flow on each inhalation. Ultra-comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece is easy to grip yet doesn’t inhibit airflow. The second stage housing is manufactured using precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer. Regulator comes with a 3/8″ threaded hose and weighs 31.5 oz. (893 g) and comes with an owner’s manual.
